It was when they were shooting for Prakash Jha’s “Lipstick under my Burkha”, that Konkana offered Vikrant a role.
Commenting on the same, Vikrant said in a statement: “It feels great to be a part of this project, The workshops for the same begin early December. I am looking forward to this one.”
Vikrant will play a young Bengali guy in the film which is set in the hinterlands in the late 1970s. A thriller, which will be in a mix of Hindi and English, tells the story of a family from the actor’s perspective.
It’s expected to roll early next year.
