Vidya Balan celebrating Durga Puja 2015 with family

Durga Puja pandal here in Mumbai Vidya Balan is going through a rather lean spell in her acting career. All her films in recent times have failed to click at box office, and her last film Hamari Adhuri Kahani was blasted to pieces by critics. But that doesn’t take away the fact that Vidya is the most versatile actress in B-town. Known for her penchant for saris, Vidya dressed in traditional beige colour sari made her way to a Durga Puja pandal in Mumbai. Vidya was accompanied by her mother and her family. Vidya looked every bit Bengali thanks to her sari and make up. Not only did she pose for the shutter bugs, but she also offered her prayers and even played the dhol, which is an essential part of Durga Puja celebrations. It is interesting to note that Durga Puja played an important part in Vidya Balan‘s Kahaani, which was her last big hit at the silver screen.
