In an interview on “The Howard Stern Show” on Wednesday, the “Burnt” actor assured the host that their relationship is not sexual, reports people.com.
When Stern asked Cooper, 40, if the two were ever going to sleep together, he replied: “Never.”
Stern also asked if Lawrence’s age (25) had anything to do with it – as Cooper had previously stated – but he clarified that their 15-year age gap wasn’t an issue.
“I said that once on a red carpet just as a diffuse thing and then it became a thing because the girl I was seeing (Suki Waterhouse) was as young as she was,” he explained.
Instead, the reason is simple – they are simply friends.
“It just didn’t happen,” he said. “It’s not the way we are together.”
